FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) pickling tanks are specialized chemical storage and process tanks designed for the pickling of metal componentsan industrial process that removes oxides, scale, and other impurities from metal surfaces using strong acids such as hydrochloric, sulfuric, or nitric acid. These tanks are built using high-strength fiberglass reinforced resins that offer excellent structural integrity and resistance to chemical corrosion.

For even greater resistance to harsh pickling acids and to protect against permeation or long-term degradation, thermoplastic-lined FRP pickling tanks are employed. These tanks have an inner lining made of corrosion-resistant thermoplastics such as PP (Polypropylene), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride), or PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). The thermoplastic lining ensures superior chemical compatibility, while the FRP outer shell provides mechanical strength and durability.

These tanks are widely used in metal finishing, galvanizing, steel treatment, and wire industries, where chemical exposure is continuous and aggressive.
